The District of Columbia Center for AIDS Research (DC CFAR) is a multi-institutional effort to support research aimed at ending the HIV epidemic in Washington, D.C. and beyond through partnership with local government and the community.

Participating research institutions include the George Washington University, American University, Children’s National Medical Center, Georgetown University, Howard University and the Washington DC VA Medical Center.

GWNIC provides consultation, training, mentorship and instrumentation for microscopy and analysis.
